TA001 : Hmong hill tribe and Doi Suthep temple – Half Day
Tour Itinerrary :
From the hotel drive up the slopes of Doi Suthep to observe the simple way of life at Meo hilltribe village. Then proceed to visit the most famous temple in the north on top of the hill, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the original founding of the temple remains a legend and there are a few varied versions. The temple is said to be founded in 1383 when the first chedi was built. Over time the temple has expanded, and been made to look more extravagant with many more holy shrines added. A road to the temple wat first built in 1935. |
