TA004 : “Unseen” Wieng Kumkam The Old City – Half Day

Tour Itinerrary :  Daily 08.30-12.00 & 13.30-17.00 A fun way to visit Wieng Kum Kam, an ancient city that was built by King Mengrai in the 14th Century and was found underneath the village just a few years ago. Bike to explore the royal temple of Wat Kanthom (Wat Changkam), the shrine of King Mengrai, and Wat Hao Nong, a temple which still has the remains of the old-style of temple entrance. Continue to Wat Pu Pia and Wat E-kang which were just discovered during archeological excavations. Then to Wat That Kao, Wat Phajao Ongdam and Wat Chedee Liam which is so well known as part of the architectural heritage of Chiang Mai.
